Sakumono is a small town situated between the Accra and Tema metropolis. Before, it was small fishing community on a lagoon but has presently been swallowed up as the twin cities of Nungua and Tema since the year 2008. Sakumono is one of the interesting towns, also known as Community 13. It has the main township which is close to the beach and lagoon. Has a lot of sects of Estate buildings and jurisdiction.

Sakumono is a buzzling town within the Tema Metropolis. Sakumono is community 13 amongst the Tema communities and is managed by the Tema Development Corporation.
